Come meet our Inaugural Youth Fellow and We asked her why she applied for our Inaugural Youth Fellowship: 

I am a senior in high school from Pittsburgh, PA. I hope to gain more knowledge on what I can do as a teen to help the ongoing gun violence crisis, but also help other teens who would like to help resolve gun violence. I wanted to apply to this fellowship to help make a difference and a change. It’s very draining to consistently see school shootings and unnecessary gun violence and crimes happening within our communities. I want to be the change I wish to see and I hope to achieve that with this fellowship. Thank you!!
